hecta is a real estate investment platform, where investors can buy land, plots, buildings, flats, villas, shops and offices across India. the real estate would be offered by banks, financial institutions, and asset reconstruction companies. hecta allows customers to buy real estate that is a good deal, has a clean title and from clean sellers through banking channels.
to create the visual identity for a company which exists in a market that is trust-deficient
for creating the brand identity, we were required to communicate certain values through the logo – the ability to build your real estate portfolio with ease and confidence. we initially explored multiple concepts which played on the idea of ‘space’, even the word ‘hectare’ from which the company’s name was devised. we ultimately settled on wordmark which was modern and self-assured at it’s core. the usage of lines, which is ubiquitous to the world of real estate, became the central theme for the visual identity. the branding is meant to feel modern, approachable and confident.
