trusted media bands (erstwhile jukin media), a content company from the US with multiple viral IPs under it (e.g. fail army), wanted to enter the indian market with another one called, ek india. this was their idea for it – ‘ek india will be a high quality, user generated content platform. all the content will be shot and sent by indians and ek india will curate them to publish india’s best unfiltered stories on our own native, well-populated channels.’ the brand from a conceptual POV was to be youthful, conversational, fun and most importantly viral.
create a brand identity for a new content IP that can co-exist with other existing IPs
the brand identity was created keeping our indian audiences in mind. the logo unit is simple and easy to digest for somebody that needs one quick burst of high-quality authentic content, besides being easy to spot as a small favicon. continuing from that line of thought, the colours chosen for the brand were bright and vibrant. within the logo system, the letter “e” of “ek” is used in lower case to better emphasise the word india”. The tittle of the letter “I” forms a heart to show the community spirit of the brand.
